Can anyone be a host?
Yes, providing you are on
AOL, you can become a Trivium host. The vast
majority of current Trivium hosts are just
ordinary AOL members. You do not need to be
a computer whizzkid to operate the software, see
the next FAQ below......

How difficult is it to operate the software?
It's very easy - all you
need to do is load in some questions, click the
Start button and the software takes care of
everything else for you. In fact, you can even run
a quiz without being at your computer at the time
- Trivium automatically detects correct answers,
awards points and calculates the scores, and all
questions and answers are sent to the AOL chat
room automatically. If you've ever watched a quiz
being hosted, you could be forgiven for thinking
the host must be a superfast typist, but in fact,
Trivium is taking care of everything.

Will it work on my system?
Providing you have a PC
and AOL, Trivium will work on your system.
(There is no version of Trivium for the Macintosh
currently available.)
There are versions of Trivium for all versions of
AOL from 4 to the latest 9.0, and for Windows 95,
98, ME, 2000 and XP.

When will I receive the program?
After receiving
your order, Trivium will be sent to you once your
order goes through (this is always within 48 hours
and usually within an hour). The software is
emailed to you directly to the screen name you
specify ready for you to install, and takes less
than 8 minutes to download. Setting up
Trivium takes less than 2 minutes and you will
then be ready and eligible to host quizzes in an
AOL chat room.

What is included in the purchase ?
Trivium
arrives to you as a setup program, and included
are several example quizzes you can use to get a
feeling for the software. Also included is a
thorough help file, a password to download many
more quizzes free and the right to lifetime
support. You also get a free web profile
which you can use to display to the world what
kind of quizzes you prefer hosting should you wish
to. Upgrades and replacement copies of the
software are available to registered hosts and
providing you use the same screen name originally
used to register they are free of charge.

Are there any hidden charges I should know about?
None. The
payment for the software is a one-time only
payment and all replacements and upgrades
thereafter are free of charge. The same
applies to all countries outside the UK in their
respective currencies.

I'm not on AOL can I use Trivium on my ISP ?
No. Trivium
at the moment is exclusively for AOL members.

I have various names on my AOL account, can they
all host?
Yes. When
you order the software, you specify the screen
name you want to use to host with, and once
Trivium is then installed, you can use any of the
screen names on your AOL account to host with.
(This only applies to the AOL 6,7,8 and AOL 9
versions of Trivium. For AOL 4 and 5, you
may specify up to 3 names to host with)

What is your privacy policy?
You are 100%
protected against junk mail and we will never use
your information for any purpose whatsoever,
guaranteed. We do not even send you mail
regarding Trivium unless you specifically request
it.
